New Minas RCMP seek missing woman last seen on Sunday

KENTVILLE, N.S. — The New Minas RCMP are looking for the help of the public to help locate Janet Bandurak.

It is believed that Bandurak, 66, was last seen leaving a residence on Exhibition Street in Kentville on the morning of Sept. 8.

Early on Sept. 10, the red 2007 GMC truck Bandurak was thought to have been driving was located on Highway 221 near the Woodville Fire Department.

New Minas RCMP believe someone driving a red minivan may have interacted with Bandurak, and are encouraging that person to contact them, because they may have information that is useful to the investigation.

Bandurak is white and  five-foot-four with short white hair. The last time she was seen, she is believed to have been wearing a blue jacket with grey pants.
