BRIDGETOWN, N.S. – The woman Annapolis District RCMP were seeking as a person of interest in connection with the theft of a pair of speakers from a Bridgetown electronics shop has been identified.

On Oct. 23, staff at Granville Street store reported the theft speakers worth $300. Police obtained surveillance video from the store that depicts a woman who was in the store at the time.

The RCMP were asking Nov. 16 for assistance from the public to identify the woman who was at the store that day.

While police hoped to identify the woman, they did not refer to her as a suspect.

Police said in a media release Nov. 18 they would like to thank the public for their assistance and shares and retweets on social media.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
