KENTVILLE, N.S. — No one was injured during a transport truck versus car accident at the base of Belcher Street April 11.
Kentville Police Service chief Julia Cecchetto confirmed the accident occurred at the Belcher Street and Cornwallis Street intersection at 9:30 a.m.
A transport truck collided with a Subaru crossover car and damaged the car’s front end.
The car could not be driven away from the scene and had to be towed.
EHS, fire crews and police responded at the scene. There was no damage reported to the truck.
KPS deputy chief Darryl Brown said the incident was classified as a minor one, and likely caused by the truck taking the turn too sharply.
“It was a minor incident, a sort of traffic snarl you could say,” he said.
No one was injured in relation to the accident.
