LAWRENCETOWN, N.S. — Hundreds lined Main Street in Lawrencetown just after supper Aug. 12 as the Annapolis Valley Exhibition Parade made its way through town to the exhibition grounds and the official opening ceremonies at the main ring.
We followed the parade along its Main Street route and snapped a lot of photos.
The parade capped a day of 4-H activities and was followed by the popular ATV Competition, ox pulls, and music from the Bridgetown Fiddlers.
Monday kicked off a week of activities at the 93rd edition of the Valley’s agricultural showcase event which runs until late on Aug. 19.
