The 26th annual Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch brought crowds to the village. The pancake breakfast at the village hall was an added attraction.
Over 50 people attended a first time evening kickoff party. The evening included a meal, wine tasting, storytelling and live music by Andy Webster.
On Saturday morning Mike Kennedy and Cindy Ueffing were busy cooking up local sausage for the breakfast crowd.
Another volunteer Meg Hodges said the eagles are generally fed twice each morning at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Eagle Watch co-ordinator Malcolm Lake says it’s fairly exciting to view when they swoop down to feed.
The eagle watch breakfasts, hall rentals and harvest fair make it possible to keep the hall open in the community.
Eagle Watch continues Jan. 29 and Feb. 4-5. The breakfasts, held at the Sheffield Mills Community Hall, run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on every watch day.
The hall is located at 98 Black Hole Rd.
