HANTSPORT, N.S. — As the temperatures soared at the end of August, several children beat the heat by visiting Hantsport’s splash pad and playground.
Others took to the water, paddling on Lake Pisiquid or swimming at one of the many outdoor venues located throughout the county.
Hantsport’s splash pad and playground, located at the Hantsport Memorial Community Centre grounds, is free to visit. It’s located near the entrance to Churchill House, off of Main Street. Nearby, there is a fully-enclosed off-leash dog park that is also free to use.
