Shots fired at vehicle in Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police are investigating reports that shots were fired at a car in Dartmouth on Thursday evening.

The incident occurred at about 9:20 p.m. on Highway 111, police said in a news release.  The driver of an older model dark-coloured van approached a moving car and fired shots, damaging the rear end of the vehicle. 

 Nobody was injured. It’s believed the people in both vehicles knew each other, police said.

Members of HRP’s General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 902-490-5016.
