Allison "Tim" Enoch
Allison, Timothy “Tim” Enoch, 92, of Three Mile Plains, Hants County, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on March 1, 1926 in Windsor, Hants County. He was the son of the late William and Tyra (Hamilton) Allison. Tim retired from the Canadian Armed forces after 30 years of service. In the Second World War he was involved in the liberation of Holland. After this he was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Hants County Branch .009 Royal Canadian Legion, Windsor. Tim was an adherent of the Windsor Plains United Baptist Church. He loved to tinker in his carpentry shop. His happy time was when he was spending time with his grandchildren, who made his face light up every time he was with them. Tim will be remembered as a kind and gentle man by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, the former Patricia “Patsy” Johnson; sons, Timothy (Donna), Halifax; Rodney, Halifax; Shane, Toronto; Craig (Melanie MacDonald), Three Mile Plains; daughters, Jo-Ann Sabean, Windsor; Patricia “TC” Allison, Dartmouth; Cheryl Allison (Tom Seifort), Dartmouth; Kimberley (Kevin) Veinot, Three Mile Plains; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, William “Billy”, Arthur “Went”. Sisters, Vera, Elizabeth, Tyra. Visitation was held 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. Funeral service was 2 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018 in Lindsay’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Galvin Simmons officiated. Cremation followed and burial will be at a later date. Donations in memory of Tim may be made to the Windsor Plains United Baptist Church. To have a donation card placed, please call Lindsay’s (902~798~2232).
