Brian Doyle — South Alton

Brian Gerard Doyle – 67, of South Alton, Kings County, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2018. Born in Kentville on November 3, 1950, he was a son of Rose (Redden) Doyle, South Alton and the late F. Raymond “Pat” Doyle. Brian was formerly employed with Willett / Boland Foods and had retired from Michelin in 2015. Brian met the love of his life, Debbie, at the age of 17 and they married in 1971. Brian enjoyed being active and outdoors. In his younger years, he pulled tug-of-war and played hockey with the South Alton teams. Brian spent many days hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed time at his cabin, which he built himself with help from Luke and the family. Brian was well-known for his daily walks with his two dogs, Ranger and Bo. Brian is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie (Lake) Doyle; his mother, Rose (Redden) Doyle, South Alton; two daughters, Deanna Doyle (Luke Wellwood), North Alton; Krista Doyle (Justin Dill), Lower Sackville; a son, Ryan Doyle, South Alton; two grandsons, Andrew Wellwood and Julian Dill; two brothers, Frank Doyle and Terry (Teresa)Doyle, both of South Alton; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, F. Raymond “Pat” Doyle; a sister, Margaret vanKippersluis. Cremation has taken place. As per Brian’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Brian enjoyed his family and friends during his lifetime and wished to be remembered in that way. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
