Cory Palmer
Cory Avard Palmer – 39, of Canning, Kings County, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2017. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of Deborah Farris and the late Gary Palmer. Cory was a Journeyman Plumber/Pipe Fitter who worked for Atlantica Mechanical, Halifax. Very energetic and full of life, he loved fishing and attending hockey and soccer with the kids. He also loved being at home with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lacey (Brown); two children, Mia and Cruz Palmer, both at home and one brother, Nick. In addition to his father, Cory was predeceased by a brother, Christopher. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, in the Pereaux Baptist Church, Reverend Mike Veenema and Pastor Mary Grace Webster officiating. Burial took place in the Hillaton Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Lung Association.
