George "Carmen" Paynter
George (Carmen) Paynter of Deep Brook, Nova Scotia died peacefully at the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia on Saturday, September 1st, 2018. Born in Freetown, PEI on January 20, 1939. Loving husband of Brenda Trevors. Brenda was an ardent, faithful wife and best friend who supported Carm in all aspects of his life during these exceptional years. Carmen is also survived by his son Rob (Jackie) of Kelvin Grove, PE; granddaughters Amy and Emily; devoted sister, Marlene Marshall, Charlottetown, PE; and respected and loved by stepson Jeff Trevors (Kate), Cold Brook, NS. Cherished uncle of Terri Tremblett, Trevor Marshall, Tracey MacIsaac and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Gladys Paynter and infant son, Dean. Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby, NS. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 7 pm.
