Gordon Arnold — Truro

Arnold, Gordon Henry, 84, Truro, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Hawkesbury, Ontario, he was a son of the late Steve and Margaret (White) Arnold. Gordon worked as an administrator for CBC Radio Toronto for many years before retiring to New Minas. He is survived by a daughter Sharon Taylor (Ken) of Richmond, BC; son Bruce Arnold of Lumsden, NF; grandchildren Chelsey and Pudlat (Johnny). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Joy (Chambers) Arnold; sister Doris Beamer. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation by family request. Burial will take place at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to the SPCA, Waterville, Kings Co., NS.
