WEST, Troy Barry December 21, 1970 October 13, 2019 Our gentle giant is gone. Troy Barry West, age 48 passed from physical form to pure love on Oct 13. Troy was the youngest child of Vernon ‘Mort’ and Alicia (Millett) West. Troy grew up in East Hall's Harbour NS, and made Merritt BC his final home. He will be remembered for his gentle nature, love for all, physical strength, and endless patience. His loves were his family, music, job, and hockey team. He leaves behind a large family to mourn. Son, Kiefer (Manda); daughter, Samantha; grandchildren, Kegan, Sophia, and Alexander (Cape Breton NS). Life partner, Danielle; and step-daughter, Katelyn (Merritt BC). Sisters, Laurel (Wayne), Nannette (Frankie), Crystal (Leslie). Neices and nephews, Tiffany, Tyler, Chantell, Jessie, Mackenzie, James, Logan; great-nieces Lorna and Kinsley (Annapolis Valley NS). Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Nicolas James (in infancy). Date and time for a Celebration of his life will be shared at a later time.
