WINDSOR, N.S. — The Parkview Panthers continue to roll over the competition in the Valley High School Hockey League.

They recorded their seventh consecutive victory Dec. 8 in Windsor when they defeated the Avon View Avalanche 8-2.

Saturday night saw Nolan O’Brien score three of the Panthers’ first four goals as the Panthers took a 3-0 lead after one period, increasing it to 6-1 after two periods before making it an 8-2 final.

Hayden Burgess connected twice for the Avalanche, with assists on both goals going to Dan Lord.

The Avalanche Boys Hockey team have two games remaining prior to the Christmas break.

On Dec. 21, they will play Northeast Kings in Canning before coming back to Windsor on Dec. 22 to host the Central Kings Gators.
