They lost to the Hantsport Shamrocks by scores of 2-0 and 7-4, with the second game going to eight innings before a winner was declared.
In the opener, the Shamrocks’ pitcher Dave Pilat found the outside corner to his liking and used it effectively to register the complete game win.
The Shamrocks scored both of their runs in the third inning on a pair of doubles from Sean Croft and Chad Munroe.
Joey Gaudet opened the third with a base hit for Hantsport and then stole second on a high throw from Knights catcher Tristan Horner, who was making his debut as a rookie in the Knights’ line-up. Gaudet scored on Croft's double and Croft came across on Monroe's double.
The Shamrocks managed only one other hit off of losing pitcher Paul Humphreys.
Windsor tried to get back in the game in the bottom of the fifth with one out when they put two runners on base. Dave Swindall was hit by a pitch and had been singled to second. However, he was then caught in a run-down between second and third.
“We did not want to be extra aggressive on the bases because Hantsport makes a lot of good fielding plays,” said Humphreys of the run-down. However, he noted it was a play that was “hard to criticize because I like aggressive base running with one out."
The Knights also put two runners on base in the bottom of the sixth when Cory Whitney reached the base on an error and Wade Flynn singled. However, the Knights were unable to drive them home.
Hantsport 7, Windsor 4
This game was a difficult loss for the Knights as they gave up a 4-1 lead in the seventh inning and then lost it on a bases loaded triple by Gaudet in the eighth inning.
Gaudet's hit came on a 3-2 count with two out. It was hit sharply and was well placed down the right field line.
Jason Hanes slugged a two-run homer for the Knights during the game, and rookie Devon Dunfield collected a two-run double and missed a grand slam by just a couple of feet.
Yarmouth 3, Kennetcook 1
The Yarmouth Gateways and Kennetcook Braves met for the first time this season May 24, with Kennetcook losing both matches.
In the opening game of the doubleheader, both teams did all of their scoring in the sixth inning.
The Kennetcook Braves struck-out 12 times while managing three hits. Elliott Dickson-Green suffered the loss for the Braves allowing five hits while striking out six. Justin White had an RBI double for the losing Hants County team.
The Braves lost 3-1.
Yarmouth 16, Kennetcook 4
In the second game, the Yarmouth Gateways exploded for 11 runs in the fifth and sixth innings after taking a 5-1 lead after the fourth. The visitors registered a 16-4 victory over Kennetcook.
Justin White was the losing pitcher for the Braves as well as the top hitter for the team as he went two for three with an RBI double. He allowed nine runs (only three earned) and nine hits while walking one batter.

The Windsor Knights will be back at home this weekend to play the Yarmouth Gateways in a doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on May 31.
The Noel Road Blue Jays, the defending NSIBL champions, will open their 2015 schedule May 31 against the Kennetcook Braves. The doubleheader will be held at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Also on May 31, the Shamrocks will be on the road to visit Stellarton to take on the expansion team, the Pictou County Royals.
