Members of the Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Club in Canaan turned in some impressive results at a national small bore rifle competition sponsored by the Dominion of Canada Rifle Association (DCRA).
Marcel Kolb of New Minas won gold in open iron sight individual match, scoring 597 points out of a possible 600. Kolb also claimed bronze in open any sight individual match, scoring 594 points out of 600.
The team of Barrie Langille, Bob MacKay, Earl Spicer, Paul Fairclough and Bert McDonald won gold in the open F-class team match competition, scoring 2,384 out of a possible 2,400 points.
