The Cambridge resident will be bringing home at least two medals after recording second-place finishes in the 400m and 1500m wheelchair racing events Aug. 3.
“It felt amazing,” he said.
“I was confident I could get on the podium for my events. The 1500m was my best race of 2017.”
Brown crossed the finish line in the 400m with a time of 56.33
“I had the race of my life in the 1500m. It was a battle majority of the way for the gold and I paced 25 to 27km/hr for over 800m,” wrote Brown in a Facebook post.
The silver medalist is scheduled to compete in the 200m heats Aug. 4, and Brown’s pushing for another podium finish.
