CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – It proved a successful romp through the United Kingdom for the Canadian senior women’s rugby touring team, with Charlottetown’s Alysha Corrigan, as the squad finished with a 3-1 record.

Canada lost the opener to England 27-19, then tallied a 35-14 win over England’s A squad (in which Corrigan scored her first try in international play), earned a 38-21 victory over Wales before squeaking by Scotland 28-25 to close out the tour.

Corrigan, a former UPEI Panthers and Acadia Axewomen standout, wasn’t on the roster versus England or Wales.

With Acadia this season, she was named a second team all-Canadian for the third time in her university career.
