MacInnis, a five-foot-nine guard from Stratford, led the women’s basketball team in Saturday’s loss to the University of King’s College Blue Devils. She scored 25 points while adding five rebounds, three assists and a steal. She had 16 points, five rebounds, an assist and two steals in Sunday’s victory over the Dal AC Rams.
MacInnis, a second-year bioscience student, is averaging 15.1 points, five rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.1 blocks in 13 games this season.
The Hurricanes (4-9) host the Crandall Chargers Thursday at 6 p.m.
Menzies, a six-foot-one setter from Berwick, N.S., helped power the ‘Canes to victory on Sunday in a straight-sets win over the UNBSJ Seawolves. He had 35 assists, three kills and three digs.
Menzies, a second-year sport and leisure management student, leads the conference in assists averaged per set with 8.47.
The Hurricanes (5-6) return to action Saturday when they visit the St. Thomas Tommies in Fredericton, N.B., at 5 p.m.
