Wolfville will come alive with the sights and sounds of the holiday season Dec. 7 and 8 for Holiday Street Fest.
Central Avenue will be transformed into an open air market under the stars Dec. 7 from 6-9 p.m. Wolfville Farmers’ Market vendors and local wineries will be featuring the tastes of the season for all to enjoy. Santa Claus will be on hand in his workshop, under a heated yurt, welcoming children for supervised activities so parents can have the opportunity to shop.
Wolfville merchants will also have extended shopping hours Friday evening.
From 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, families can enjoy free horse and wagon rides around town from Central Avenue and complimentary hot beverages will be available.
A holiday wreath decorating workshop, under a heated yurt on Central Avenue, is new this year at a cost of $15, with $2 of each wreath sold being donated to the food bank.
