Jan. 12

• Masonic Breakfast - Masonic Hall, 110 Mill St., Berwick. 8 to 10:30 a.m. Adults: $6. Children: $3. Now wheelchair accessible.

• Hang Out Night – From 7-9 p.m. at the White Rock Community Center. Social time with neighbours and friends. There will be games available, participants encouraged to bring board games. Use the back lower entrance, $2 individual, $5 family. For information, call 542-3805. 

• Dance - Kentville Legion, 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. $6 per person. Band is Route 12.

• Breakfast – 8-10 a.m. at All Saints’ Anglican Church Hall, Pleasant Street, Kingston (turn west off Bridge Street). $7. All are welcome.

• Legion Breakfast - Kentville Legion breakfast, 7:30–10 a.m. Adults $5, children 12 and under $3.

 

Jan. 13

• Variety Show -  at the Forties Community Centre, New Ross, 1:30-4 p.m. Lots of local talent. $5. Canteen available. Info:  689-2612 or 689-2000.

• Flea Market - Kentville Legion Flea Market, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. $5/table, $1 admission. For tables call 678-935. Wheelchair accessible, canteen, variety of items.

 

Jan. 14

• Valley Gardners Club – Meets 7:30 p.m., room 2101, Kingstec campus of NSCC in Kentville. Club members Pauline Jacobs and Allison Magee will speak on the topic of "Roses in the Garden," sharing their experience with varieties and culture. All are welcome.

 

Jan. 16

• Lunch - Soup and chowder luncheon. Port Williams United Baptist Church. 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  $8. Take-outs available with free delivery in Port Williams area. Call 542-3012.  Sponsored by the Loyal Workers.

 

Jan. 17

• Jam Session – At the Cambridge Community Centre, 7 p.m. Bring the talent or come to enjoy the music. Please bring your favourite treats/sweets for a lunch if you can. Coffee/tea is provided.  Freewill offering at the door.

 

Jan. 19

• Lions Breakfast - Coldbrook Lions breakfast. All you can eat full meal deal for freewill offering. Info:  Marsha, 692-0379.

• Church Breakfast - 8-11 a.m., Breakfast at the Aylesford United Church. Freewill offering. Everyone is welcome. Sponsored by the Community of Stewards.

• Dance Coldbrook Lions Dance. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. $6 per person. Music by Route 12. Info: 538-8050.

• Good Neighbour Club Breakfast – At the Centreville Community Hall, 7-10:30 a.m. Freewille offering, all welcome.

• Variety Music Night – Will be presented by the Kingston Lions, at the Kingston Lions Hall, 7 p.m. Admission $5, features performances by Lois Lutz, Chet Brown, Just For Fun, Mary Dunlop and Ruth Whitman.

• Legion Dance - Kentville Legion Dance, 9:30 p.m. River St, Kentville, $6 person, Music by Still Doin Time.

 

 

Jan. 22

• Food Bank AGM - at 7 p.m., the Berwick Food Bank Association will hold its annual general meeting at the food bank premises, located at 100 South St., Berwick. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Jan. 24
