Canning Recreation will be hosting a polar dip on New Year’s Day.

The fifth annual group venture into the bay is set for 3 p.m. on Jan. 1 at Kingsport’s wharf.

Hot drinks and snacks will be served after the plunge at the Lloyd Memorial Centre.
