A production team from British Columbia’s Force Four Entertainment was in Kentville Jan. 20 to see whether the community is a good fit for a potential national series.
The challenge? To take on the adventure of living life without tax.
“For 40 days, you would lose access to virtually all services funded by taxes,” director Sean DeVries said of the idea. Participants would get a sum of money representing tax paid to all levels of government and would have to figure out how to govern themselves and provide services.
