KENTVILLE - The North Kentville community was out with baskets in hand for the annual Easter egg hunt at the Salvation Army church on March 26.

The two-hour event was thronged with parents and kids. Along with the Easter egg hunt for children, there were games, crafts, a family-friendly movie and food provided.

Everyone appeared happy with the activities and the treats. One senior citizen, who appeared to be alone, sat by himself contentedly watching the egg hunt scramble in the sanctuary.
