Uncertain future for KCA

Former Kings County Academy site in Kentville.

There may be a for sale sign on the former Kings County Academy in 2013.

Kentville chief administrative officer Mark Phillips told the town’s council advisory committee on Dec. 10 that staff plans to bring forward a recommendation to sell the property in the new year.

Kentville chose to take on the former school site this fall after the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board declared the property surplus in March 2012.
