UPDATE: Highway 101 reopened after crash

RCMP stopped a vehicle in Pictou County and found 250 grams of cocaine.

Highway 101 was closed between Berwick and Aylesford for several hours this afternoon.

Around 4:20 p.m. Dec. 23, a  Ford Taurus and a Hyundai Santa Fe collided between exits 15 and 16.

RCMP say the Taurus was driven by a 54-year-old woman and with her was a 29-year old female passenger, both from Kings County.

The Santa Fe was driven by a 42-year-old man who had a 41-year-old female passenger, both from Hants County.

All four people suffered serious injuries and were transported to Valley Regional Hospital by paramedics

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

RCMP are on the scene investigating a collision that occurred around 4:20 p.m.

Police are asking drivers to use caution due to slippery conditions in some areas.
