Car crash closes highway briefly

At 8:41 a.m., Wolfville firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 east of Exit 10 in the westbound lane. There were no major injuries, but one individual was transported to hospital as a precaution. The highway had to be shut down for a short time to allow tow trucks to remove the vehicles. Indications were that weather and slippery road conditions were a factor in the collision. - Submitted photo
