Wolfville teams vying for junior curling provincials

A pair of Kings County teams will contest the Nova Scotia junior curling championships set for Dec. 27-31 in Chester.

On the girls' side, Micayla Dorey will skip a team representing the Wolfville Curling Club. The remainder of the team, which is coached by Monty Dorey, includes mate Sarah Brine, second Olivia Dennis and Haylee Nauss.

Wolfville also has a team in the boys' competition, skipped by Robert Mayhew and including mate Michael Brophy, second Alex Trites and lead Ben Creaser. The boys' team is coached by Alan Mayhew.

In addition, Cooper Kelly of Berwick is skipping a boys' team that will be representing Truro at the provincial competition. The remainder of Team Kelly includes Ben Hennigar, Sam Byers and Drew Spinney.
