Five members of the Acadia Curling Club competed in the Atlantic University Curling Championship at CFB Halifax the weekend of Jan. 12.
The womenâ€™s team â€“ including skip Micayla Dorey, mate Olivia Dennis, second Sarah Brine, lead Haylee Nauss and fifth Lindsay Doucet â€“ had a 2-2 record at the competition.
Acadia beat St. F.X. and UPEI, before losing to Saint Maryâ€™s and UPEI.
UPEI and SMU advanced to the CIS national championships.
Acadiaâ€™s menâ€™s team will compete at the end of the month in Halifax for a repeat chance at a national berth.
