Adam Melanson and Robert Adams each scored two touchdowns as the Horton Griffins defeated C.P. Allen 28-17 Sunday to advance to the Nova Scotia high school football final.

The Griffins, who led 14-7 at the half, gave up 10 points in the third quarter only to respond with 14 unanswered of their own at Acadia’s Raymond Field.

The Griffins recorded four interceptions, including two by Daniel Booth and singles by Alex Thomas and Jacob Melanson.

Horton will play the Citadel Phoenix, who defeated Dartmouth.
