The Acadia Axewomen upset the CIS number two ranked Saint Mary's Huskies 91-84 in Wolfville Feb. 12, handing the Huskies, who had entered the game with a 16-0 record, their first loss of the AUBC regular season. Lindsay Harris led the Axewomen with an Acadia career-high 35 points to go along with 14 rebounds while playing all but a few seconds of the game. The second place Axewomen improved to 12-4 with the victory.
In the men's game, Acadia broke open a close game to that point by going on a 16-2 run to end the first half en route to a 92-68 win over Saint Mary's. Anthony Ashe led the Axemen offense with 20 points, including five three-pointers. The Acadia men, also in second place, improved to 13-3 with the win.
