NEW MINAS - The wet weather didn’t dampen the spirits of those taking part in New Minas Celebration Days events Aug. 12.

The fun moved inside, where a series of stations were set up in the Louis Millet Community Complex throughout the day. There was a room full of an assortment of inflatable bouncers, face painting, balloon creations, a barbecue, live music from Witchitaw and the Jill Boudreau Band, a dunk tank and a Touch A Truck competition.

Celebration Days kicked off with music by Kevin Davison followed by a fireworks display Aug. 11.
