Kings District R.C.M.P. Wolfville have charged a 20-year-old Wolfville man, Ryan Alexander McAloney, with trafficking in methadone, after a lengthy investigation.

The investigation began in July, 2012, when a man was found unconscious in a public park in Wolfville. The man was transported to hospital, treated and released.

The circumstances of that investigation lead to the charges under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act for trafficking of methadone by the Wolfville man. He has been released on conditions to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on January 28, 2013.
