A Kentville man charged with sexual assault and criminal negligence causing bodily harm to a woman will return to court in June for election and plea.
The charges against Jon Brandon Peelar, 40, occurred while he was employed as a taxi driver. The charges stem from incidents alleged to have occurred in Berwick between March 15 and 16.
Peelar appeared in Kentville provincial court on May 5. The matters have been adjourned to June 2 for election and plea.
The identity of the alleged victim is protected by a publication ban.
