“I think the biggest thing we’ve seen from the team is that they’re willing to put the work and the effort in,” he said in an interview Sept. 18.
“They’re willing to learn. They’re willing to get out of their comfort zones and try some things.”

With the players’ birth years ranging from 2001 to 2003, Lefebvre said improving positional play will be key moving forward with a relatively young team.
“We have to make sure we’re trying to get better every day,” he said.
“I’m a firm believer that we develop every player and the team’s success kind of comes along with it.”
He suspects there will be a few more bumps in the road as the team gels, but he’s certain hockey fans will be pleased with the energy coming from the Wildcats.
“I think they’re going to be a really exciting team.”
